| Current Series: Courage to Do What's Right! |
The goal of the 'Courage to Do What's Right' curriculum is guide children into being who God designed us to be. We go through the Bible, from beginning to end discovering different stories where people needed courage to stand for what God would have them do. We sing worship to the Lord, read the Bible, memorize scriptures and HAVE FUN learning about our creator! Join us and see! |

The Mission of South County Kids Ministries
|
Matthew 28:19-20. . .Go!!!
To create a high energy and healthy spiritual atmosphere that allows each child to form great relationships with each other and eventually leading to an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ.
To facilitate each child's growth in his/her relationship with Jesus
Christ and the knowledge of His word through applicable messages that
touch kids where they are.
To assist each child in discovering their own uniqueness, gifting and talents so they can utilize them for God's mission for their life.
To equip each child with the tools to share the love of Christ with
their family, friends, neighbors, and the world by modeling and
exemplifying a Christ-like attitude in all they do.

There is a Class for Every Child
|
Sunlight Kids (Nursery to 2 year olds)
Using the Sunlight Kids curriculum, one main idea is repeated for the kids per month. South County Preschoolers (3 & 4 year olds)
Their curriculum rotates every year, giving the 4yr olds a chance to remember the Bible stories that were taught when they were 3. There is loads of coloring, activities, and games for them to play. South County Kids (5 to 12 year olds)
The curriculum for this group rotates every 3 years. The kids understand the stories in a new way as they grow in years. From the Old Testament to the New, to what we believe as a church. It is jam packed with fun and exciting learning techniques to help your child grow in knowing the Lord.

BGMC - Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge
|
What is BGMC? BGMC is the missions education emphasis for children in the Assemblies of God. It provides resources to help teach kids about missions. It supports our missionaries in their fields of ministry in America and around the world.
Did you know? Among the Assemblies of God Missionaries, 85% were called to be missionaries while they were between the ages of 9 and 13!
What Does BGMC Do? Our Missionaries Need BGMC - BGMC allows our missionaries to get the supplies they need in order to spread the gospel and reach the world. Our Kids Need BGMC - BGMC teaches kids about the needs around the world. Kids will want to respond. Jesus commanded us to reach out to those less fortunate.
Where Do BGMC Offerings Come From?
Young children giving in Buddy Barrels
Older children making faith promises
Parents and other adults receiving special offerings What Does BGMC Money Buy? Our missionaries can use BGMC funds for any ministry supplies that relate to evangelism and discipleship. (puppets, music, video tapes, tracts, Bibles, literature, sound systems, computers, copy machine and a whole lot more!)
Why Give Offerings To BGMC? BGMC goes to where the need is the greatest, where the timing is the most urgent, and where people's lives can be changed forever. When you give to BGMC, you are helping our entire ministry team all at once!
When to give to BGMC?
South County Church takes up the BGMC offering on the second sunday of the month. The children can bring in their Buddy Barrels to class. The offering will be collected and then they take Buddy home again to start saving for next month. |
