Rake it Up!
 On November 15th we will go around to neighborhoods and rake their leaves.
We are doing it for free to show our neighborhoods we truly care. Come join us that day, and together we can be a blessing to the neighborhood.
Meet at SCSS at 9am and we will rake until 1pm. Snacks and water provided.

South County Kids
Bible reading challenge for Sunday - Mattehw 5, 6 & 7. This is called the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus is speaking to a large crowd.

Game Hour will be this Saturday November 8th. We will meet at SCSS at 9:30am and drive to Sunrise together to play games with Grandmas and Grandpas who don't get visited often.. Please have your child bring their favorite game like Connect Four or Candy Land. We will be done at 11am. Parents do not have to participate but are welcome to. Sunrise Retirement Center is very excited to have us!

Thanksgiving Food Baskets for Lorton Community Action Center
There will be a box in the lobby for the next two weeks to collect items for the Thanksgiving Baskets. Food must be brought in by November 16th.
2 cans each: corn, green beans and carrots
2 cans of fruit
2 cans or packages of turkey gravy, no jars
1 can of cranberry sauce 
1 6oz. box of stuffing, no bags
1 large can sweet potatoes
1 small bag of brown sugar
5 lb bag of potatoes
1 large can of pumpkin pie mix*
2 cans of evaporated milk
1 large box of piecrust mix
$20.00 food card to purchase meat.
*Please purchase the pumpkin pie mix not regular pumpkin pie. The mix is all-inclusive.
